Thymulin

Thymulin is a zinc-dependent thymic peptide hormone (historically called serum thymic factor/FTS) used in research to study immune regulation and neuroendocrine signaling between the thymus and other systems.

• Thymulin: Endogenous nonapeptide produced by thymic epithelial cells; biological activity depends on zinc binding.

• Primary use: Immunology research on T-cell differentiation/function and cytokine-regulation pathways.
